Отказаться от российской нефти: насколько это реально? Такие обсуждения сегодня идут в американском правительстве, сообщает РБК со ссылкой на заявления представителя Белого дома Джен Псаки.

Как сообщает дипломат, президент США Джо Байден рассматривает такую вероятность, но пока не принял окончательного решения, поскольку уверен: запрет импорта нефти из России нанесет вред европейским партнерам Америки.

«Президент больше всего сосредоточен на обеспечении того, чтобы мы продолжали предпринимать шаги введению наказывающих экономических последствий, — цитирует Псаки РБК, — одновременно предпринимая все необходимые действия для ограничения влияния [таких действий] на цены».

Сейчас, по данным Белого дома, на Россию приходится около трети всей импортируемой в Европу нефти: «Мы очень хорошо осознаем, когда ведем эти разговоры и консультируемся с нашими партнерами, что у нас будут разные возможности [в случае запрета на импорт нефти из России]», — заключила Псаки.
